Winter break camp teaches kids French pastry skills
in North County San Diego.
Learn the art of French pastry at Winter break camp with Artful Chefs.
Winter break camp with Artful Chefs is fun way to learn and develop life skills. Our winter camps take place in a REAL commercial kitchen. Kids experience what it is like to work with professional chefs in our hands-on baking classes. If you are looking for high energy, super fun and expert instruction, you are in the right place.
We believe that kids love to learn when they are having a great time. Winter break should be fun and filled with memories that will last a lifetime. Kids learn best with hands-on experiences. Our chefs will help your child to understand the basics of French baking technique. When they learn this invaluable skills, they will be able to use them for the rest of their lives.
No previous experience is necessary. Jr. chef bakers will learn to make delicious treats like eclairs and macarons and crème brûlée from scratch. During the process they will learn the benefits of baking from scratch.
We all know how bad packaged and highly processed foods are. Being able to select fresh and all organic ingredients for your recipes is a wonderful feeling. Baked goods taste better when they are made from scratch. Finding bakery goods with the highest quality ingredients is not an option if you are buying them already packaged in a store. The overhead is simply too costly.
Our commercial kitchen is located in north San Diego county. The Artful Chefs winter camp is an 8 minutes from the 78 freeway and Sycamore exit. From Melrose and Rancho Santa Fe road in San Marcos, it is a 10 minute drive. The camp lasts for four hours each day. The dates are:
