Jr. Chef Bakers French Pastry Winter Camp 2016
For Jr. Chef bakers ages 7- 16
2016 French Pastry Winter Camp sessions:
December 19th – 21st: French pastry level I: We will be making delicious and colorful macarons from scratch. Then we will work on the art of pâte à choux to make éclairs. Of course we will make the custard filling from scratch as well. Then we will learn about tempering chocolate to top the eclairs. MMM, we can’t wait. Buttery black and white cookies are always fun to make. We will learn about how to blend dough and create these holiday favorites.
December 27th – 29th French pastry level II: The method of creating flaky buttery tart crusts is a basic French technique. We will make gorgeous fruit with fresh lemon curd. We will glaze them so they look like works of art. Buche de Noel, petit fours and more)
