Meet Chef Pharrell
Chef Pharrell Worthylake is the founder and owner of Artful Chefs, offering hands-on cooking classes for children in San Diego.
Chef Pharrell has been a chef in the San Diego area for more than 20 years. Her passion for cooking and teaching has led to a new chapter for Artful Chefs, with a renewed focus on sharing the joy of cooking with children.
Today, Chef Pharrell offers small, hands-on Jr. Chef cooking classes in her kitchen in Tierrasanta, San Diego.
Classes are limited to six students, giving each child the opportunity to receive individual attention, participate fully, develop practical kitchen skills, and build confidence while having fun.
Chef Pharrell believes learning to cook is about more than following a recipe. Spending time in the kitchen can help children develop independence, creativity, confidence, and practical skills they can use throughout their lives.
In addition to scheduled Jr. Chef cooking classes, Artful Chefs offers cooking experiences for homeschool students and groups, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, and other children’s groups.
