The reason you send your kids to camp is not for day care. You want them to expand their knowledge by trying new things.At our kids cooking camp Jr. Chefs can touch and do it all. They want to discuss techniques with someone who is knowledgeable. But most of all it must be fun. We have the perfect solution.
Our cooking summer camps in San Diego are the best. We are the only camp which takes place in an actual commercial kitchen and is taught by real chefs. We don’t sell equipment or books. We only want to teach classic cooking techniques with a hands-on approach.
Our culinary summer camps are suitable for Jr. Chefs ages 6-15. We offer two themes, twice during the summer. Our Italian Bistro Chef Boot Camp and International Restaurant Boot Camp use recipes, specifically chosen to teach classic cooking techniques. Kids learn how to saute, simmer, blend and knife skills under careful supervision. They will prepare lunch every day and enjoy it with their cooking class mates.
Our commercial kitchen is located in North County San Diego in Vista, CA in the business park area. The San Diego summer camps are scheduled for the last week in June and all of July, except for the week of July 4th. Hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Every minute is packed with activity. Your child will not be just watching an instructor demonstrating how to cook. This is a hands-on experience from start to finish.
