Looking for summer camp near San Marcos? Do you dream of being the next Master Jr. Chef? Are you always wanting to watch the chef shows on TV? We have something you will LOVE! A week at our JR. Chef Summer Cooking Camp in our commercial kitchen with our professional chefs.
Cooking summer camp with Artful Chefs is a place where kids ages 6 -16 can learn in a commercial kitchen with real chefs.
We have two different theme weeks offered twice during the month of July. Our International Culinary Boot Camp for Jr. Chefs is going to be so much fun. We will be learning about classic culinary techniques using menus from French, Italian, Asian, Mexican and Eastern Vegetarian. Do you love Italian food? We have the summer camp for you…Italian Bistro Jr. Chef Camp will be all about Italian cuisine. Making sauces from scratch and learning basic culinary techniques to amaze your family and friends.
No experience? Not a problem, that is what our chefs are there for. We will help you to learn knife skills, how to saute, simmer and bake like a pro. You will have a great time and get to eat your culinary masterpieces every day for lunch.
This is a camp like no other in San Diego. You will be working with ingredients from local markets, preparing them from start to finish. All hands-on prep every day. We will show you how to work with fresh herbs and seasonings to make your foods taste and look just like a five star chef. You will have such a great time, the hours will be flying by every day. You will be sorry when the week is over and you will want to come back again.
